HKUST Research Conference on Investment in the Era of AI

We are pleased to announce the inaugural research conference by the Center for Securities Analysis with Financial Technology at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The conference is generously sponsored by J.P. Morgan. We invite submissions in all areas of investment research. Research related to artificial intelligence and machine learning technology is particularly welcome. The conference will be held on September 16, 2022 (local dates) in an online mode.

Paper Submission Procedure
The deadline for manuscript submission is July 15, 2022. Please submit an electronic copy including a one-page abstract (MS-Word or PDF only) to csaft@ust.hk. Decisions of acceptance will be announced by August 1, 2022.
Note: Submission of a paper is not required for participating in the conference.
Participant Registration
We welcome participants from both the industry and the academia. There will be no registration fees. To register as a participant, please complete the registration form by August 31, 2022, via the following link:

About The Organizer
The Center for Securities Analysis with Financial Technology of HKUST is established as a platform for researchers from academia, financial institutions and regulatory bodies to collaborate on research related to security analysis and capital markets. The center aims to promote research with significant business and social impact, with an emphasis on the role of emerging technologies, such as machine learning and big data technology in security analysis and valuation. The center also strives to develop new insights and solutions that can immediately inform the best business practice. By actively disseminating such insights and engaging with the business community, we will contribute to the development of financial sectors of Hong Kong.
